In early August, the race founder and co race-director, Carol Chaoui passed away from Metastatic Breast Cancer. The 2020 Wellesley Turkey Trot will be dedicated to Carol Chaoui. Our logo has been updated with C.C. on the singlet and as well as a ribbon.
We are encouraging runners to run/walk your virtual race and honor Carol by wearing pink and/or orange (her favorite colors), superhero capes and/or Wonder Woman accessories. Take photos of your race and share them with us and on social media!
If you were lucky enough to know Wonder Woman Carol (if not Google Wonder Woman Carol Wellesley), you know how she loved people to get in the spirit of things and dress up in costumes to run. She was also passionate about raising funds for the community and medical research. Dress up, show up and let's all run for Carol this year.

Please do not run on the race course. One mile of the race runs through Wellesley College as it is closed to the public due to the pandemic. Wellesley College generously allows us the privilege to run through their private property each year. We do not want to jeopardize our relationship with Wellesley College in the future.
Race shirts will be provided to everyone who registered before the shirt deadline which was November 9th at noon. You will get the size shirt you ordered. If you signed up after the deadline, you can check back on November 30th to see if there are extras.
Numbers and bibs can be picked up at Marathon Sports starting on Monday, November 23rd. The store is open 10am – 6pm on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday they close at 5PM. Runners will receive a 20% discount in the store excluding electronics. Please send only one member of each family to pick up. Please do not show up right at 10 am on Monday morning, to allow the staff some time to get set up. Since you are guaranteed to get exactly the shirt you ordered, there is no incentive show up early.
There will be a limited pick window on Friday, November 20 for large families/groups, and runners who want their shirt and bib to race over the weekend before Thanksgiving. If you would like to arrange in advance to pick up on this Friday, email info@wellesleyturkeytrotfoundation.org. We will get back to you with the details on the pick-up location and time as it will not be at Marathon Sports.
You can run your race anytime from Saturday November 21st through Sunday the 29th. When you complete your race, you can submit your results by clicking here and entering your information. Submit Your Results
